Interiors Designers, Samantha Smiddy and Lisa Stegman have a style that straddles contemporary and classical design. They’re not afraid to mix high and low decor and tend not to follow trends. One of their signature practices is to create beautiful still life vignettes. These vignettes are collections of clients’ curios, travel mementos and family air looms. Each one is carefully curated and tells its own story.
The SS brand identity portrays these vignettes in print. The visual language mixes design styles and has layers of texture. The blue architecture notes are a nod to the process and collaboration of clients, architects and designers. Along with the signature vignettes, a simple wordmark and icon were included for simpler executions.
